Join us as we work to connect local care. You can get involved as a Lived Experience Partner to share your experience using our healthcare system, or organizations can join us as Members of the KLH-OHT.  Learn more below about how to join the Kawartha Lakes Haliburton OHT.

Become a Lived Experience Partner

Join us as we work together to connect local care. We’re looking for people from our community that are patients, clients, caregivers or family members who have experience using our healthcare system. Your feedback will help shape the future of our local healthcare and services. The total time commitment will range from 1-2 hours per month, which is virtual at this time.

    Our Lived Experience Partner Handbook is a guidance document that our patient, family and caregiver partners can use to help support their participation with the KLH-OHT. It outlines the key initiatives of the KLH-OHT, defines the role of a Lived Experience Partner, and provides advice on how to talk about personal experiences.
