The Kawartha Lakes Haliburton Ontario Health Team is a dynamic group of  lived experience partners, health service providers and leaders from across the continuum of care, and are working together to pioneer a new approach to health care.

Kawartha Lakes Haliburton Ontario Health Team (KLH-OHT) is a group of healthcare providers and organizations as well as patient, family and caregiver members working together toward a common goal of improving health outcomes. Our purpose is to have a relentless focus on supporting people to live their healthiest possible life.


We are working towards

  • Increasing access to online appointment booking
  • Increasing the ability to share health information across multiple service providers and making it easier for people to access their digital health records
  • Improving access to the right provider at the right place at the right time
  • Making it easier for you to find information about local health services
  • Offering opportunities where you can provide feedback to the KLH-OHT and have a say in your healthcare
  • Working with health service providers to better coordinate care offered in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County

Patient Family
Advisory Council

Advisory group that aims to improve the patient, client, family and caregiver care and service experience in Kawartha Lakes and assist in shaping KLH-OHT programs.

Implements plans and design of the KLH-OHT, prepares Ministry submissions, and oversees working groups.
